Yes, your mole/skin lesions need to be assessed by your GP or dermatologist first. If you have a letter from your GP or dermatologist stating that it is non-cancerous; we can review and removed the mole. The lesion we remove will always be sent for histology at our laboratory partner.
Yes, we can arrange histology of the mole/lesion when it is removed in our clinic. This is included in the cost and samples will always be sent to the laboratory for histology testing.
Yes. Any surgical procedure requires a consultation with a clinician first before an surgical procedure can be completed. It is at this consultation our clinicians can review your past medical history, allergies, medications and further discussion regarding your health. We can at this time make a decision as to if surgery is right for you or maybe a less invasive procedure can by used.
There are a few mole removal options. Laser mole removal is an option (not offered in our clinic at this time). Some moles/lesions may suitable to use Cryotherapy (use of liquid nitrogen) or currettage
